On July 13, Babette Bolz-White, Senior Project Manager of GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH), informed Victor Corella, director and founder of AMN, about his selection to participate in the Program BMWK, which will take place in Germany from September 12 to 23, 2022.
The BMWK Manager Training Program is a plan between Mexico and Germany whose objective is to expand economic relations between the two countries while promoting their companies for cooperation.
Victor Corella was selected to join this program after an arduous selection process in which SMEs from 4 continents were. After nine months and more than 200 hours of training, of which July and August in the automotive industry, company representatives will be able to travel to Germany to generate business links, being spokespersons not only for their company but for the industry branch they represent.
In the case of Victor Corella, his presence will not only create AMN with German companies. Still, it will also integrate the participation of the sector automotive Mexican in the German panorama.
This program is financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and managed by GIZ.
What is the Mexico-Germany Cooperation Program “Fit For Partnership with Germany”?
The Mexico – Germany Fit For Partnership with Germany Cooperation Program is a program created in 1998 by the Ministry of Economy and the Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection to prepare managers from Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa north and Latin America for efficient cooperation and business link with German companies, this to promote binational collaboration.
In the case of Mexican companies, they will have the opportunity to train and establish long-term relationships with the European country.
Companies related to the manufacturing, automotive, electronics, food, health, software, energy, waste management, construction, and logistics industries participate in this program.
More than 11,000 companies have participated in this program, incorporating an average of 900 companies annually.
While German companies generate contacts in countries like Mexico, local companies are trained and improve their market research processes, sales optimization, and marketing processes.
Due to the restrictions generated by the pandemic, the Fit for Partnership was held virtually in its 2020 and 2021 editions; however, this year, it will be possible to return in person. The learning of the previous two years generated a mixed modality, where the participants can be trained remotely before they visit the European country.
At AMN, we are delighted with Victor Corella’s participation in this program. This will help link local and national suppliers with foreign companies, providing an opportunity to open up the market and apply effective management practices.
It is an important event because it places companies such as AMN and regions such as Ciudad Juárez and Querétaro on the world stage, demonstrating the extraordinary capacity of the people who move the industries in the country.
